Batch Details:

Following are training options available for C-CAT Preparation:

Regular Batch:
  • This option covers all the modules of C-CAT in details ranging from the fundamemntals of computers, programming basics in C as well as Operating system and networking. This approach is highly recommended for students without any programming background. Every module is concluded by an end-module examination and the training is concluded by the final examination.
  • On successful completion of this training, every participant will get a course completion certificate.
  • Each student will get a seperate copy of courseware designed specifically for C-CAT.
  • Students are also eligible for the Online Test series which is conducted in the training campus of Know-it. After each test, session from expert trainers will be held for discussion related to doubts and queries related to the test.
Fast-track Batch:
  • This option prepares you for C-CAT in a shorted period of 3 weeks. It covers all the modules comprehensively in lectures as well as labs. To accelerate the skill development process, students are given notes and lab assignments to be practised at home as well. This will help students to prepare for C-CAT in available time.
  • Each student will get a seperate copy of courseware designed specifically for C-CAT.
  • Students are also eligible for the Online Test series which is conducted in the training campus of Know-it. After each test, session from expert trainers will be held for discussion related to doubts and queries related to the test.
Study from Home Program:
  • It may not be possible for all students to come to Pune for the C-CAT training. To address training needs of such students, we have started a "Study from Home" option.
  • Under this training option, students are entitled to a courseware on all modules of C-CAT. They are also eligible for the Online Test Series for all modules (C, Computer fundamentals, OS, OOP and Aptitude). Students registered for this training will be give a login account for our website from where they can appear for the practice test series.
  • In case of any technical doubt, students can contact our training team on phone during a specified time duration.
Online Test Series:
  • Knowing the exam pattern and practicing it regularly is very crucial for succedding in C-CAT. We offer Online test series for all students appearing for C-CAT.
  • After successful registraion, every student will get a login account for our website from where they can appear for such test series.

  • You can enroll for the DAC course only through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by C-DAC ACTS at national level.
  • Number of seats available for DAC course limited. Hence admissions are given only on the basis of your All-India Rank in CET.
  • This training prepares your for this C-CAT in totally professional and result oriented objective. Along with trainings from the expert trainers, we provide you study material for additional reading. We also conduct regular examinations to improve your ability of solving MCQ's in limited time duration.
  • Know-IT has excellent track record in C-CAT preparatory training. Note that many of our students stood in first 1000 All-India Ranks in the last batches.

C-CAT Exam Structure

There are two sections of C-CAT examination, Section A and Section B

Section A:
  • English, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude
Section B:
  • Computer Fundamentals
  • C Programming
  • Data Structures
  • Data Communications & Networks
  • Object Oriented Programming
  • Operating Systems
Every section will have 50 objective-type questions of 3 marks each (maximum 150 marks for any one section). Each objective-type question in C-CAT will have four choices as possible answers of which only one will be correct. There will be +3 (plus three) marks for each correct answer and -1 (minus one) for each wrong answer. Multiple answers to a question will be treated as a wrong answer. For each un-attempted question, 0 (zero) mark will be awarded.
